The process started with an online/offline campaign designed to entice prospects using a personalized direct mail piece with a strong migration offer to make it easy to switch – which drove them to a customized web landing page. A consultative telemarketing contact was also made. This allowed Wilde to capture crucial self-reported information and insights. In turn, using variable data printing, HP was able to customize its follow-up communications to offer information and solutions to address each prospect's particular needs and concerns with personalized sales follow-up. The results were off the charts with a response rate of three times the average, a qualified lead rate that exceeded projections by 200% and a sales acceptance rate that was four times higher than average.
